Meet the Owner
For Kavanna Cottrell, weddings have always been more than just a career — they’ve been a lifelong passion. She has worked in and loved weddings for as long as she can remember, growing up surrounded by the joy, beauty, and togetherness of wedding days. From the earliest moments of her life, she knew she wanted to dedicate herself to creating that same magic for others.

After earning her bachelor’s degree in Event Planning and Coordination from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, Kavanna worked alongside talented planners across the industry. She coordinated and assisted with over 300 weddings before starting Serene Bliss in June 2025, right in the heart of Virginia. Since then, she has personally planned and coordinated more than 200 weddings and already booked over 100 for her own business — each one filled with love, laughter, and care.
